Conference Centre and lodging |
| Until 1887 Gammalbo Estate was
a foundry with a 400 year history. Today we manage an ecological farm
with animals that contributes to the relaxed atmosphere here and supplies
the produce to the conference centre that is housed in the beautiful old
house.The conference guests are housed in 6 different building containing
40 beds. The conference rooms and dining room are located in "Hyttblecket",
the old country store that lies by Sandån River.In the vault dating
from the 17th century, beneath the great house, there is a wonderful pub
that is open before and after dinner. In the "Mejeriflygeln"
(dairy wing) there is a sauna and relax room. We are fully licensed. |

For weekly hire there are 6 houses with the choice of everything from the most simple to the highest standard, with 4 beds to 6 beds + 3 extra beds. |

| Good, uncomplicated home cooking and a beautiful environment is our contribution. If you desire something extra we can help with cheese, beer, crisp bread tasting somewhere along the river by a fire where we can bake our own breadsticks, Svarttjärn Lake or something else suitable for the environment. | |
| There are 780 hectares fields and forest at Gammelbo Gård. Apart from that there is water and an uninhabited island on Norrmogen Lake. | |
| In
our mill we grind the seed we grow and sell it as flour or the
good Gammelbo-crispbread. We also sell mutton, pork and beef.All production
is KRAV - och DEMETER-certified, with KRAV nr 915063. |

| Route description |
| Turn off from route 68, about 30 kms north of Lindesberg, and follow the signs to Gammelbo. After about 6 kms you arrive at an avenue that leads up to the main building. After a further hundred metres you will pass Sandån River and Hyttblecket lies on the right and the mill on the left. |
