Flogberget is one of the few mines that Ekomuseum has open to visitors that give you some sort of idea as to what methods were used in mining 300 years ago. You can visit the deep shafts of the mines in the care of knowledgeable guides, but there is also a lot to do on the surface. |
| Wander around in the quarry |
| The mines consist of an open quarry surrounded by steep walls and some fifteen mines. From above the view can make you dizzy. You can freely wander about in the quarry. Here there is something to discover for all ages. In narrow and dark passages you can shine your torch and see the shadows you create - that is if you dare! You can also follow a narrated tour and learn about the hard and dangerous lives led by miners past. |
