| Once upon a time Bergslagen answered for a third of the world's iron production. Löa was on of the ironworks that was found at the time and excavations have shown that there was iron being produced here as early as the beginning of the Middle Ages. | |
| The works itself has been out of commission since 1907. Today it has been restored as it was during the 1890's. | |
| The bailiff can guide you around the ironworks and tell you about mining and iron production in historical times. | |
| During summer there are daily tours, during the rest of the year you can book in advance. |
